Prep Football: Win or go home for North Border, Langdon and Cavalier

Friday night is the unofficial start of the Class A football playoffs for area teams. North Border, Cavalier and Langdon all need wins Friday to advance to the 1st round of the state playoffs next Saturday. It's cut and dry for North Border and Langdon as they will play each other in Langdon on Friday. The winner of the game will clinch the #4 seed in Region 3A football and will travel to Killdeer for the 1st round of the playoffs. The loser of the game will go home for the season. For Cavalier, the Tornadoes will need a win versus Thompson on Friday. A Thompson win means Cavalier would would be knocked out of playoff contention.
Meanwhile, Velva and Harvey will play for the Region 3A championship on Friday.
