Fire destroys popular Drayton bar

A fire destroyed a bar in Drayton and damaged the local bank as well on Sunday evening. The Zoo Bar & Lounge was destroyed by the fire which was called in about 5:30pm on Sunday. Along with the popular bar, the Drayton State Bank, which is next to the bar on Main Street, had smoke damage. Fire crews from Drayton, St.Thomas, Kennedy and Grafton were called to the scene. The cause of the fire is believed to be a grease fire.
