North Border beat Dakota Prairie 34-32 on Friday in a matchup of Region 3 9-man powers, and Carpenter was a major factor in the Eagles' offense.
The senior quarterback rushed for three touchdowns, threw TD passes covering 32 and 36 yards, and also ran in a 2-point conversion. For the game, Carpenter had 111 yards rushing and completed 9 of 15 passes for 171 yards in helping the Eagles improve to 3-0.
