Thunderstorms Race Across the Borderland

Numerous thunderstorms hit the Borderland region this morning. Neche recorded 1.49 inches of rain thru early afternoon. Sirens sounded in the city of Neche at 10:00am as a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for northern Pembina County.
Storm reports from today:
--3/4 inch hail was reported 2 miles north of Walhalla at 10am.
--3/4 inch hail was reported at Mt. Carmel at 935am along with estimated 65 mph winds that blew stacks of boards and plywood at a barn site.
--Marble sized hail in Neche at 10:31am.
--3/4 inch hail 2 miles west of Leroy at 12:25pm.
--l.00 inch hail at Vang at 9:56am.
--Golfball to Raquetball size hail 13 miles north of Langdon at 12:21pm.
--Estimated 80mph winds blew over 5 grain augers and dented two 4,000 bushel grain bins 13 miles north of Langdon at 9:40am.
--Pembina reported 0.88 inches of rainfall.
